What happens in the appointment
To treat fungal nail, I'll usually cut and file the offending nails, including reducing the thickness. I'll also advise you on home-care routines, including using a fungicide.
Fungal nail treatment is a process rather than a single procedure — the nail needs to grow out cleanly, which takes time. I'll help you track progress and adjust the approach if needed.
Follow-up
I recommend a follow-up appointment six weeks after the first, to review how the nails are responding and whether any further treatment is needed.
